Resources for Professionals
NCPTSD provides evidence-based training materials, information, and tools to support providers who treat Veterans with PTSD.
The National Center for PTSD has training materials, information, and tools for providers who treat Veterans with PTSD. These materials are based on the latest research, much of which is conducted by National Center staff. See NCPTSD’s resources for professionals.
Many providers use AboutFace videos to help their clients learn about PTSD and hear from others who have had similar experiences. The Interview Highlights videos are a great place to start — each gives a quick sense of Veterans’ answers to a common question like “How did you know you had PTSD?” or “What is treatment like?” Learn more about using AboutFace as part of your practice.
To talk with an experienced clinician about using AboutFace, or if you have other questions about treating Veterans with PTSD, contact the PTSD Consultation Program at PTSDconsult@va.gov or 866-948-7880.
